Because of our geographical location, we will always be prone to strikes from tropical storms and hurricanes. Additionally, climate change and emerging diseases increase the range and severity of the threats we must now confront. As a result, an important component of our Resilience Program is improving our operational readiness and our ability to recover after an external shock.
